Jaclyn founded the 5 C Dance Company to bring the Claremont Colleges a dance team with a blend of artistry and technical skills. Jaclyn has danced since she was 2 years old and competed throughout the United States on a champion dance team. She has won 1st-Overall in Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and Tap categories as a soloist, duet, and small groups. Jaclyn was ranked in the top twenty dancers in America at the Starpower National Dance Competition in Las Vegas and has performed with JUMP on Broadway. She is a senior at CMC and is an Environment, Economics, Politics (EEP) major. |

Kelsey is a senior biology major, dance minor at Scripps College. She has trained in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Modern at Backstage Dance Studio in Factoria, Washington. Kelsey joined the 5 C Dance Company in her freshman year; she was part of the original dance team. |

Lauren is a senior at Pitzer and is double majoring in media studies and legal studies. She is from the SF Bay Area and has studied ballet and modern. She enjoys filmmaking, writing, dancing, shopping, and the outdoors. Lauren enjoys cutting music for 5CDC, being with friends and family, and making movies. She likes meeting new people and always has time for fun. |

Alex is a senior at Pitzer College. She is majoring in psychology and wants to become a kindergarten teacher. She started gymnastics when she was four and then started dancing when she was twelve. She also performed in a circus for seven years, where she did trapeze, contortion, and partner acrobatics. |

Taryn is a sophomore at Scripps College. She is originally from Bellevue, WA and is majoring in Mathematical Economics. She competed with Backstage Dance Studio for 8 years. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, wasting time on the internet, and playing Nintendo 64 games. She is thrilled to be a part of 5CDC for her first year in Claremont. |

| Arielle is a sophomore at Pomona. She is from Brooklyn, NY, and is double majoring in neuroscience and dance. She has studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, African, and modern. She has danced with the National Dance Institute and has trained and competed as a member of the Senior Company at Bonnii’s Dance Showcase. Arielle is very excited to be a part of the 5CDC and looking forward to a great year. |  |

Isabelle is from Kauai, Hawaii. She is currently a sophomore at Pomona College. She has been studying dance since 8th grade. She has studied modern, ballet, hip-hop, and jazz and is excited to be a part of the 5CDC! |

Mary has been dancing since she could walk and loves to show her personality in styles like character and tap. For the past three years, Mary has attended the Radio City Rockette Summer Intensive in New York City and aspires to one-day join the world-famous kickline. |

Victoria began studying ballet at the age of four, and received the majority of her training from San Francisco Ballet School. Continuing to dance in high school, Victoria played such roles as Clara, Spanish Chocolate, and Dewdrop in the St. Paul’s School Ballet Company’s production of “The Nutcracker.” This will be Victoria’s tenth year performing a variation from Tchaikovsky’s classic Christmas ballet and she has chosen to re-choreograph her favorite role, Spanish Chocolate. |

From Blaine, MN, Maya danced on the Blaine Dance Team for all 4 years of high school, and this past summer she learned how to go-go dance.
